The appointing authority of a participating entity under subdivision (b) of Section 102100.2, and the term of its appointee to the board, shall terminate upon termination or cancellation of the agreement provided for in subdivision (b) of Section 102100.2, and that agreement shall automatically terminate upon the effective date of the entityâs annexation to the district pursuant to Section 102051 or 102055.
