âTransit worksâ or âtransit facilitiesâ means any or all real and personal property, equipment, rights, or interests owned, or to be acquired, or used, by the district for transit service or purposes, including transit operations, maintenance, or administration. âTransit worksâ or âtransit facilitiesâ are public works for the purposes of the Public Contract Code.
