Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions in this section govern the construction of this chapter. (a) âAuthorized vendorâ means a retail commercial enterprise, authorized by the department to sell SNO-PARK permits established by this chapter. (b) âDepartmentâ means the Department of Parks and Recreation. (c) âFundâ means the Winter Recreation Fund. (d) âDesignated parking areaâ means an area located, constructed, maintained, and signed pursuant to this chapter. (e) âWinter recreationâ means any recreational activity principally dependent upon snow-covered ground, including, but not limited to, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice fishing, snow camping, dogsledding, and snowmobiling.
