(a) The amount of the grant shall not exceed the cost of the project. (b) The amount of the grant and the amount of matching funds required, if any, shall be determined by the office, based on the financial resources available to the grant applicant, the urgency of the project relative to other archaeological projects, the extent to which the project furthers program objectives, and other factors identified by the office and approved by the commission that further the purposes of this chapter.
