(a) In recognition of the late Robert H. Meyer’s many contributions to the growth and improvement of the state park system, the El Matador, El Pescador, and La Piedra State Beaches are hereby designated and shall be known collectively as the Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beaches. (b) Not later than January 15, 1984, the department shall erect appropriate signs at, and in the vicinity of, the state beaches to reflect the designation made by this section. Thereafter, the department shall cause all directories and other publications concerning the state park system to reflect that designation as the publications are periodically revised.
