Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the California State Mining and Mineral Museum located in the City of Mariposa, including all assets, exhibits, and materials, shall be transferred from the Department of Conservation to the Department of Parks and Recreation for ownership and operation in accordance with the Department of Parks and Recreationâs rules, regulations, and guidelines regarding ownership of state parks. All proceeds from the operation of the museum shall accrue to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
