(a) The director shall establish a schedule of user fees for persons using the departmentâs data base developed pursuant to Section 4802, which does not exceed the reasonable costs for developing, updating, and maintaining the data base. (b) The department shall utilize its data base for the review of timber harvesting plans as appropriate, and shall permit the use of its data base by timber harvesting plan applicants for the preparation of timber harvesting plans and by other persons, upon request. (c) Commencing on January 1, 1992, the department shall charge a fee to users of the data base pursuant to this section.
