(a) No later than 120 days after the date the department receives the annual report submitted by the producer responsibility organization pursuant to Section 42968.62, the department shall notify the producer responsibility organization if the annual report is compliant or noncompliant. (b) If the department determines that the annual report is noncompliant due to failure to meet the requirements of this chapter, then the department may require the resubmittal of the annual report or take enforcement action.
