As used in this chapter: (a) âMethane gas hazardsâ means collections of biogenic or thermogenic gases identified as hazards in the study conducted by the supervisor pursuant to Article 4.1 (commencing with Section 3240) of Chapter 1. (b) âEligible jurisdictionsâ means counties and cities identified as having methane gas hazards in the study conducted by the supervisor pursuant to Article 4.1 (commencing with Section 3240) of Chapter 1.
