The chairperson of the task force, with advice from the task force, shall appoint the California Ocean Resources Advisory Committee, which, at a minimum, shall consist of the following: representatives of coastal local governments, relevant federal agencies, environmental and interest groups, the Legislature, and relevant industries such as oil and gas, hard minerals, biotechnology, commercial and sportfishing, seafood processing, aquaculture, transportation, tourism, and ports and harbors. The advisory committee shall review the draft of the report and plan of the task force and shall advise the task force in its preparation.
