As used in this article, the following terms have the following meanings: (a) “Commercial refrigeration” means a refrigerator that is not a federally regulated consumer product. (b) “Energy-efficient model” means any appliance that meets the efficiency standards of the United States Department of Energy that are effective on and after July 1, 2001, and, if applicable, products certified as energy efficient zone heating products by the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission. (c) “Small business” means any small business as defined in paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Section 14837 of the Government Code.
