For purposes of this chapter, the following terms have the following meanings: (a) âFeasibleâ has the same meaning as in Section 21061.1. (b) âHigh-voltage electric transmission lineâ means an electric transmission line with an operating capacity of at least 200 kilovolts, or that is under the operational control of the California Independent System Operator. (c) âTransmission corridor zoneâ means the geographic area necessary to accommodate the construction and operation of one or more high-voltage electric transmission lines. A transmission corridor zone shall not be more than 1,500 feet in width unless required to accommodate existing land uses and land uses identified in local general or specific plans, or to avoid environmental constraints or mitigate potential environmental impacts.
