(a) The members of the commission shall receive the salary provided for by Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 11550) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code. (b) Each member of the commission shall receive the necessary traveling and other expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties. When necessary, the members of the commission and its employees may travel within or outside the state.
