(a) Section 31615 does not apply to the loan of a firearm other than a handgun or semiautomatic centerfire rifle to a minor that complies with all of the conditions set forth in paragraph (4) of subdivision (b) of Section 27505. (b) Section 31615 does not apply to the loan of a firearm other than a handgun or semiautomatic centerfire rifle to a minor that complies with all of the conditions set forth in paragraph (5) of subdivision (b) of Section 27505.
