Any county wishing to receive state aid pursuant to this chapter for the training of regularly employed and paid inspectors and investigators of a district attorneyâs office, as defined in Section 830.1 who conduct criminal investigations, shall include such request for aid in its application to the commission pursuant to Sections 13522 and 13523.
