Any municipal corporation may extend assistance to any organization under this article. In such case all proceedings required to be had before the board of supervisors of the county shall be had before the legislative body of the city. The words âboard of supervisors,â âcounty,â âcounty auditorâ and âcounty treasurerâ wherever used in this article shall mean âlegislative body,â âcity,â âcity auditorâ and âcity treasurer.â
