No licensee shall sell, transfer or give away any interest in or the right to participate in the profits of said licenseeâs business without the written consent of the Labor Commissioner. A violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000), or imprisonment for not more than 60 days, or both.
