Upon the final determination of the Labor Commissioner that a grower, a farm labor contractor, or person acting in the capacity of a farm labor contractor has failed to pay wages to its employees, the grower, farm labor contractor, or person acting in the capacity of a farm labor contractor shall immediately pay those wages. If payment is not made within 30 days of the final determination, the Labor Commissioner shall forward the matter for consideration of prosecution to the local district attorneyâs office.
