A foreign insurer shall, prior to admission, file with the commissioner the following: (a) If organized in a jurisdiction which requires articles to be filed, a copy of its articles of incorporation, duly certified by the officer having the custody of such articles. (b) If organized in a jurisdiction which does not require articles to be filed, a copy of the law, charter, or deed of settlement under which the insurer is organized, duly certified by the proper custodian thereof, or proved by affidavit to be a copy. (c) A certificate under the hand and seal of the officer, if any, having supervision of insurance business in the jurisdiction of its organization, stating that the insurer is organized under the laws of such jurisdiction, and has the amount of capital stock or assets required by this code.
