Each separate act of an insurer or its agent in violation of Section 11628 or 11628.5 shall render the insurer liable in damages in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100), plus a reasonable allowance for attorneysâ fees incurred in connection with the prosecution of the action, which may be recovered in an action at law brought for that purpose by the person aggrieved by any such act.
