For the purposes of this chapter, where the definition of the term âhospitalâ in the policy omits care in any âhealth facilityâ defined pursuant to subdivision (a) or (b) of Section 1250 of the Health and Safety Code, the omitted coverage shall constitute a limitation. Further, where the definition of the term ânursing homeâ in the policy omits care in any âhealth facilityâ defined pursuant to subdivision (c) or (d) of Section 1250 of the Health and Safety Code, the omitted coverage shall constitute a limitation.
