(a) âHydrolysateâ means the resultant liquid from the hydrolysis of human remains, which liquid is a sterile, benign, micronutrient-rich solution consisting of sugars, salts, peptides, and amino acids. Hydrolysate and calcium phosphate âashesâ are the two end results from the alkaline hydrolysis process. (b) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2020.
