Programs funded with bond proceeds shall, when allocating financial support, give preference to projects that are âpublic worksâ for purposes of Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1720) of Part 7 of Division 2 of the Labor Code and other projects on which all construction workers will be paid at least the general prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations.
