The Department of Housing and Community Development shall be the state agency responsible for both of the following: (a) The administration of the stateâs allocation of HOME funds in accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, federal regulations, and this chapter. (b) The provision of technical assistance and coordination of the HOME activities as may be requested by local governments or community housing development organizations receiving allocations of HOME funds.
