(a) The department shall develop by December 31, 2020, a list of existing state grants and financial incentives for operating, administrative, and other expenses in connection with the planning, construction, and operation of an accessory dwelling unit with affordable rent, as defined in Section 50053, for very low, low-, and moderate-income households. (b) The list shall be posted on the departmentâs internet website by December 31, 2020. (c) For purposes of this section, âaccessory dwelling unitâ has the same meaning as defined in subdivision (a) of Section 66313 of the Government Code.
