âTribally designated housing entityâ means an entity as defined in Section 4103 of Title 25 of the United States Code. For the purposes of determining the eligibility of an applicant for funding under a program authorized by Part 2 (commencing with Section 50400), references to a local public entity, nonprofit corporation, nonprofit housing sponsor, or governing body of an Indian reservation or rancheria in any statute included in, or in any regulation promulgated to implement, Part 2 (commencing with Section 50400) shall be deemed to include a tribally designated housing entity.
