âRenewable energy resource deviceâ means any device, or any combination of devices, which produces heat, process heat, space heating, water heating, steam, space cooling, refrigeration, mechanical energy, electricity, or energy in any form convertible to such uses, which do not expend or use fossil or nuclear fuels except when used for pumps, fans, or other minor controls.
