The state board may revoke outstanding certification of new motor vehicles for sale in California if the manufacturer thereof willfully fails to file any semiannual report required by Section 43206 or files a report which is deemed by the state board to inadequately describe the manufacturerâs efforts and progress. The state board may also withhold future certification of such manufacturerâs vehicles until such time as the manufacturer offers for sale in California vehicles which meet the standards promulgated pursuant to Section 1857f-1(b)(1) of Title 42 of the United States Code.
