The provisions of Article 2 (commencing with Section 53630) of Chapter 4 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the Government Code shall apply to the deposit of funds of an authority. Where the term âtreasurerâ is used in such article, it shall mean âhousing authorityâ or the official designated by it to act hereunder, and where the term âlocal agencyâ is used in such article, it shall mean âhousing authority.â
