Notwithstanding Sections 33334.2 and 33334.3, assistance provided by an agency to preserve the availability to lower income households of affordable housing units which are assisted or subsidized by public entities and which are threatened with imminent conversion to market rates may be credited and offset against an agencyâs obligations under Section 33334.2.
