(a) âBoardâ means the Board of Directors of the California Animal Welfare Association. (b) âCalAnimalsâ means the California Animal Welfare Association, a public benefit corporation domiciled in California. (c) âCertified animal control officerâ or âCACOâ means a person certified as described in this chapter. (d) âAnimal control officerâ has the same meaning as defined in paragraph (8) of subdivision (d) of Section 241 of the Penal Code.
