(a) After the issuance of a report required pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 25200.25, the department shall do all of the following: (1) Request that the board schedule a hearing for the department to present the report. (2) Present to the board a proposed schedule for issuing the final hazardous waste facilities permit decision. (3) Provide an opportunity for the hazardous waste facility to submit a written brief to the board in response to the departmentâs report. (b) The board shall accept or modify the hazardous waste facilities permit decision schedule proposed by the department in the report required pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 25200.25.
