âUniversal wasteâ means a hazardous waste identified as a universal waste in Section 66273.9 of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, or as that regulation may be further amended pursuant to this chapter, or a hazardous waste designated as a universal waste pursuant to this chapter.
