A community paramedicine pilot program approved under the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Developmentâs Health Workforce Pilot Project No. 173 before September 1, 2020, to deliver community paramedicine services, as described in Section 1815, is authorized to continue the use of existing providers and is exempt from paragraphs (1) to (3), inclusive, of subdivision (a) of Section 1842 unless the provider elects to reduce or eliminate one or more of those community paramedicine services approved under the pilot program or fails to comply with the program standards as required by this chapter.
