âPoison control centerâ or âPCCâ means a hospital-based facility or other facility which, as a minimum, provides information and advice regarding the management of individuals who have or may have ingested or otherwise been exposed to poisonous or possibly toxic substances, and which has been designated by the Emergency Medical Services Authority according to the standards prescribed by this division.
