The sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the State Department of Social Services for expenditure during the 1978â79 fiscal year. Only 5 percent of such funds shall be used for the state administration of the grant program. After the 1978â79 fiscal year, the grant program provided pursuant to Section 1598.1 shall be funded through the regular budgetary process. The funds shall be administered through the Violent Crime Victim Assistance Commission, if created.
