The department shall maintain a file of all reports filed under this chapter and under Sections 1216 and 127285 at its Sacramento office. Subject to any rules the department may prescribe, and in compliance with state and federal law, these reports shall be produced and made available for inspection upon the demand of any person, and shall also be posted on the departmentâs internet website, to the extent permissible.
