If an outpatient setting does not meet the standards approved by the board, accreditation shall be denied by the accreditation agency, which shall provide the outpatient setting notification of the reasons for the denial. An outpatient setting may reapply for accreditation at any time after receiving notification of the denial. The accreditation agency shall report within three business days to the board if the outpatient settingâs certificate for accreditation has been denied.
