The department and the placing adoption agency at the time of placement shall notify all prospective adopting parents in writing, that funds received under the California Childrenâs Services Program shall terminate if the adopting parents move out of the state. However, the department and the placing adoption agency shall advise the prospective adopting parents that they may be eligible for the funds in the new state, subject to any applicable qualifications.
