The department shall require of participating local governments the provision of program data including, but not limited to, the number of children treated, the kinds of disabilities, and the costs of treatment, to enable the department, the Department of Finance, and the Legislature to evaluate in a timely fashion and to adequately fund the California Childrenâs Services Program.
