As used in this code: (a) âAIDSâ means acquired immune deficiency syndrome. (b) âHuman immunodeficiency virusâ or âHIVâ means the etiologic virus of AIDS. (c) âHIV testâ means any clinical test, laboratory or otherwise, used to identify HIV, a component of HIV, or antibodies or antigens to HIV.
