Unless otherwise permitted by this article, it is unlawful to represent or advertise as fresh goods articles of food that have been placed in cold storage. This section shall not apply to vegetables, fruit or other foods sold as âfresh frozenâ and so labeled, when stored at or below zero degrees Fahrenheit, or to eggs held in cold storage for 30 days or less.
