When a new or a revised code is established, it shall be prepared by the Legislative Counsel with all amendments and superseding sections enacted during the session properly inserted, and with proper notes indicating the original text and any intermediate amendments. The code, as enacted, shall not be printed until after thirty days (30) after final adjournment of the Legislature, when it shall be printed by the State Printing Office as prepared by the Legislative Counsel pursuant to this section. The act as so printed shall be included in its proper sequence in the bound volume of the Statutes of the session. This section does not apply to a new or revised code which is enacted as an urgency measure. For the purposes of this section, a code is any act of the Legislature which is entitled a code.
