The Speaker is responsible for the efficient conduct of the legislative and administrative affairs of the Assembly from the final adjournment of any session of the Legislature until the convening of the next session including, but not limited to, the preparation, correction, filing and indexing of all bills, records, histories, and other official documents of the Assembly, the proper maintenance of committee rooms and offices of the Assembly and the assignment thereof, and the signing of enrolled bills and delivery thereof to the Governor.
