Appointment of Director; Removal The Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint a Director within thirty days of the effective day of this Chapter. The Governor may remove the Director upon notification to the Commission and the Secretary of State. The Director shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the Commission. The Director shall be qualified by training and experience to direct the operations of a state-operated lottery.
