(a) “Principal officer” means the individual primarily responsible for approving the political activities of a committee, including, but not limited to, the following activities: (1) Authorizing the content of communications made by the committee. (2) Authorizing expenditures, including contributions, on behalf of the committee. (3) Determining the committee’s campaign strategy. (b) If two or more individuals share the primary responsibility for approving the political activities of a committee, each individual is a principal officer.
