âRegional plan,â as used in this chapter, means a comprehensive, long-term general plan for the physical development of the region, and any land outside its boundaries which in the boardâs judgment bears relation to its planning. The regional plan shall consist of a text and a map or maps, and such recommendations of the regional planning board concerning current or future problems as may in its opinion affect the region as a whole and are proper for inclusion in the regional plan.
