(a) (1) The board shall form an advisory committee with knowledge and experience in the areas of affordable housing finance, development, and management, including rental and owner-occupied affordable housing. The advisory committee shall assist in the development of funding guidelines and the overall implementation of this title. (2) If there is an initial moving to work agency in the housing finance agencyâs jurisdiction, that agency shall have the right, but not the obligation, to be a representative on the advisory committee. (b) (1) For an authority located in a county with a population that exceeds 200,000, the advisory committee shall be composed of nine representatives. (2) For an authority located in a county with a population of 200,000 or less, the advisory committee shall be composed of five representatives. (c) Consistent with the provisions of this title, the advisory committee shall provide consultation and make recommendations to the board. The advisory committee shall meet as necessary to fulfill their roles and responsibilities.
