Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions contained in this section shall govern the construction of this article. (a) âCityâ means any city, including a chartered city. (b) âCountyâ means any county of the state. (c) âDistrictsâ means community facilities districts created pursuant to this chapter. (d) âGoverning boardsâ means, in the case of the county, the board of supervisors of the county and, in the case of the city, the city council of the city.
