âState safety memberâ shall also include persons employed to perform full-time active firefighting duties performed on April 1, 1972, under the titles of âinstitution fire chief,â âinstitution fireman,â and âcampus firefighterâ by state agencies other than the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
